this time you keep it locked
can never open
which way you're going now
to find your home
secret wishes
deep in your pocket
you throw away the key
to your head
the lies you're running from
can never forget
your loving days are gone
you're all alone
don't wait for strangers
to end your visions
don't ever fake yourself
fake yourself
seasons are falling
blowing your way
covering over your feelings today
remember those days
when it all became true
too careless to feel it
too young to be true
I never wonder
I never care
as long as you hear me
hear me today
I never wonder
I never care
as long as you need me
need me today
finding your way out
escaping awake
far into sadness and fading away
now that you're near me
as clear as you came
the season is changing
away,away
I never wonder
I never care
as long as you hear me
hear me today
I never wonder
I never care
as long as you need me
need me today
the time is gone
and you can never forget
living days just holding on
if all comes back
and i could run
just to make the time pass
sleeping over for a while
to get them by
for a while
to get them by
i know its wrong
these visions never save me
never leave or take me back
take me back
and so it goes
thinking over my dreams
waking up and losing you
all of you
losing you
all of you
it wasn't my choice
I didn't choose to lose you
and now I act like
you never made a part of my life
I needed a friend someone who loves me
cause I don't love who I am
maybe the day I found myself
you will love me again
In 2010 we wrote a beautiful song with my friend Kristof Norbert called Sometimes Islands. Then a year passed and we met again and decided to record an EP so we created these songs on autumn afternoons and we named them Season of Happiness.
The duo of Sascha Höfer and Bertram Kolar command an "island of sound" on their debut EP, contrasting warm hooks with turbulent dynamics. Bandcamp New & Notable Feb 16, 2022
The deep, dreamy music from this L.A. artist puts the emphasis on his soft, soulful vocals, resulting in low-lit love songs for late nights. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 18, 2016
